James Warren is a former attorney and federal prosecutor, who resides in the greater Los Angeles area. He is married and vicariously lives through his spouse and three adult children. His interests include NFL football, travelling, and reading mysteries, thrillers, and historical non-fiction. He is also a member of Mystery Writers of America.
In addition to That Care Forgot, another novel is on the horizon: Protection Racket, a mystery and courtroom drama. Warren has plans for several other novels. The third one is in progress, and the working title is The Past Refuses to Die, which is about the murder of two Holocaust survivors over six years apart. The fourth planned novel will concern a detective witnessing the shooting of a high school cross-country runner yards before the finish line.
